Lyngen North offers high-end accommodation in glass domes by the breathtaking Lyngenfjord in Norway. The glamping site features a restaurant serving breakfast and three course dinners, kayaks, SUP, electric bikes and more. If you fancy making your own dinner, you may also fire up the coal grill on the beach. On the restaurant deck at Lyngen North you will find an electric heated hot tub where you may relax and enjoy a beverage from the bar after a day of doing various activities.

Dome glamping (igloos)

The rooms are located by the fjord and offer amazing views towards the Lyngen Alps and fjord. Each igloo dome has its own private bathroom with shower and WC, electrically adjustable double beds, air conditioning/heat pump, heated floors, fridge, high speed wifi and more. The rooms will be ready with all you need for a comfortable stay.

From the end of May to the end of July you can enjoy 24h of sunshine as the sun won’t set below the horizon on the glamping site at Lyngen North.

Summer hikes

You will not need to have access to a car in order to go on beautiful hikes for all levels in the area. Explore the historic WWII fort at Spåkenes or head up the mountain to Dalberghytta (460 m.a.s). If you are feeling more adventurous and are in good physical condition, you might want to visit Storhaugen (1060 m.a.s).

Glamping close to nature

Onsite you can encounter various wildlife like sea otters, birds, seals, elk, foxes and If you are lucky enough, you might even encounter orcas and the arctic lynx.

There are no predatory animals which are dangerous to humans in the area. You can relax and safely explore the area around the glamping site.

Easy travel from Tromsø

From Tromsø you will have a variety of options to choose from for arriving at Lyngen North. During the whole summer there are daily buses and flights from/to Tromsø. The staff will make sure to arrange for your arrival and departure pickup/drop off at Sørkjosen Airport or at the Djupvik bus stop.
