When is the best time to visit for northern lights?

It is possible to see a great show of aurora from mid-September till the beginning of April. During spring and summer the horizon will be to bright due to the sun's elevation.

It is unfortunately impossible to predict the aurora conditions long time in advanced. At best, it is possible to get an idea a few days in advanced.

There are a few things that is for certain:

It is possible to see the aurora in the period September - April
Lyngen North is located in the center of the aurora belt which making it a high chance for success
You will be able to see the aurora from inside our glass igloos
The weather can change quickly for better or worse
The months with the least daylight is December and January.
