Sørkjosen Airport is located only 25 min away by car from Lyngen North. When taking this short distance flight from Tromsø you will be flying over the Lyngen Alps. If the weather is clear the flight itself can be quite an experience.

Booking your flight tickets

The airline Widerøe operates the route Tromsø (TOS) – Sørkjosen (SOJ). If you plan to arrive at Lyngen North directly via a connecting flight from e.g Oslo we highly recommend booking all your tickets through SAS . This is because if your flight from Oslo – Tromsø has any delays or get’s cancelled you will also get a new flight from Tromsø – Sørkjosen. SAS and Widerøe are partners and you will not get the same insurance when booking through other airliners like Norwegian Air etc.
