Energy

CO₂ from energy production per guest night

Although over 95% of energy production in Norway is from renewable sources. Norway is participating in the Electricity Market Directive (EU) and all energy bought without Guarantees of Origin must be disclosed as a mix of 15% renewable, 62% fossil and 23% renewable. Lyngen North is buying energy with guarantees of origin and will only count emissions from the physical energy in our local grid.
